Last week Carlos told me that he had an extra Juanes ticket, would I be interested in going to the concert. Um, yeah. Look at him. Seriously, look at that publicity shot above. He's Colombian (just like Julieta Venegas who I put on some mixes and who I also saw w/ Carlos) and super popular. The concert was great. He was wearing all black w/ a white belt and pulled it off. I was encouraging Carlos to wear a similar outfit, but he wasn't falling for it. I was pretty dazed by the way Juanes looked but he also had some great songs. There was one about mines w/ pictures on the big screen that was pretty moving. Apparently he's really involved w/ a charity related to landmines. And there was one about us all being brothers and the Panamanian flag was on the screen. I took it as a song being sung directly to me. Right?Overall it was a super Wednesday night. Thanks Carlos.
